  • 1989: Released self titled debut on ForeFront Records
  • 1990: Released Nu Thang and Christmas EP Yo, Ho, Ho!
  • 1991: Toured with Michael W. Smith and won first Dove Award
  • 1992: Released Free At Last and appeared on The Tonight Show
  • 1993: Won a Grammy Award for Free At Last
  • 1994: Headlined Free At Last tour with special guest Audio Adrenaline
  • 1995: Jesus Freak achieved the highest first-week sales of any Christian release in history, reaching No. 16 on the Billboard 200 chart
  • 1996: Signed with Virgin Records; “Just Between You and Me” hit No. 24 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart
  • 1997: Released live album Welcome to the Freak Show; won Dove Awards and a Grammy Award
  • 1998: Fifth and final studio album Supernatural released, debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200
  • 1999: The Supernatural Experience tour traveled to 60 U.S. cities
  • 2000: Announced hiatus and released Intermission: The Greatest Hits in November
  • 2001: Solo EP and solo albums released
  • 2002: Performed last show before hiatus on April 21 (An Evening with DC Talk tour)
  • 2003: Welcome to the Freak Show and The Supernatural Experience are re-released on DVD
  • 2004: Recorded “Atmosphere” for TobyMac’s album Welcome to Diverse City
  • 2005: Performed “In the Light” and “Jesus Freak” at a concert in Redmond, WA (September)
  • 2006: Gotee Records released Jesus Freak tribute album entitled Freaked!; ForeFront released a 10th anniversary edition of Jesus Freak
  • 2007: Recorded a cover of Prince’s song “The Cross” for Kevin Max record The Blood
  • 2008: ForeFront released second Greatest Hits album
  • 2009: Michael Tait takes over as lead singer for Newsboys
  • 2010: Recorded “Come Together Now” with many other artists to benefit post-earthquakes Haiti
  • 2011: Rumors fly about possible reunion opportunities
  • 2012: Kevin Max became the new lead vocalist in a reunited Audio Adrenaline
  • 2013: Remastered versions of Free At Last, Jesus Freak, and Supernatural are released for digital download
  • 2014: Toby, Michael and Kevin join up to induct DC Talk’s tour pastor Michael Guido in to the GMA Hall of Fame
  • 2015: Recorded “Love Feels Like” for TobyMac’s album This Is Not a Test
  • 2016: Reunion announced for Jesus Freak Cruise in July of 2017; performed “Love Feels Like” at the GMA Dove Awards
